Final Fantasy XII Release Date
It’s not brand new information that the Japanese release date of Final Fantasy 12 / XII is set as the 16th of next month (March), but we thought we’d attempt to whip up a frenzy of excitement by reminding everyone that:
FINAL FANTASY XII IS AVAILABLE IN JAPAN IN JUST OVER A MONTH!
…And any FFNet reader will know it’s not like me to break my grammatical frameset by using all capital letters. That’s how excited I am about the impending FFXII release.
It seems Square Enix really is sorting it’s act out; Dirge of Cerberus and Advent Children are out, FF12 is nearly out, Kingdom Hearts 2 is out. It’s madness. We’re actually getting to see what we’ve been waiting years for.
Now they’re out in Japan, we know it wont be long for their respective US and UK releases. It seems now we’ll have to speculate about what’s next, but anyone who knows me knows I’m already doing that!

According to numerous sources the uk release date for FFXII is september 29th of this year. The date fits with chart updates. Although I’m personally optimistic about that date, it seems too close to the Japanese release date compaired with previous releases to me.
