Ok I play guitar a lot and I'm pretty good. Unfortunately I don't read notes in a staff I read notes like you have in the website. I use the ultimateguitar site a lot and I learn a ton of songs off it. I dunno if I can be much help to you but I can help you read tab. Ok first of all what you have to is tune you guitar to drop d, obviously. The trick to reading tab is that the numbers showing corresponds to the fret you are supposed to play it on. I suppose you know that the strings are read from highest to lowest are read as E-A-D-G-B-E. So the E string closest to the A is the thickest string, etc. Then you take a look at the intro. Play the top string open twice then the top string when you are holding down the seventh and then the eighth fret and then the sixth fret on the fifth string, etc. Ok the only thing you need to know to help is when you see it listed as to barre three strings on a certain fret, just barre the first two because usually it has a thicker and deeper sound and that's what your aiming for especially for a Three Days Grace song their stuff is thick and heavy. Most of the song is straight foward if you just follow what I told you. Just play it over and over and you'll get it. Except in the verse the author clearly made a mistake when he had a b next to the 5 it's either its a mistake or he is asking you to bend the power chord. Just play it by ear with the song and it shouldn't be too hard. I hope this helps a little bit.
