If by ''future'', you would mean the afterlife, then according to religious and many philosophical beliefs, then it is predetermined.

Weather we have free will or no, there is not much escaping the outcome of our actions, weather knowledge or faith accompanies it or not.

By this I mean, in life, it would seem we are free to chose our own destiny (Although personally, this is not my belief, and nor do I believe in God.) but after that, the circumstances depend on what you chose to do.

Well, I take it the majority of Christian beliefs lie in such an explanation..

As far as life itself is concerned, I believe it to be even more complex and mysterious, as we live yet never know.

It also depends on the opinions or beliefs of the believers. (And different religious organizations.) In which case, I could share my opinion, but if you should seek an answer in all serious manner, then perhaps suggestions from those who believe in God should be more favourable to you.
