Heh, I actually re-did this fight the other day for fun. Going into the battle with full OD gauges is a must, both aeons and characters. Having your two highest physical damage dealers and rikku in the starting party, mix whatever you wish. I'd recommend a Trio of 9999 (if you want it simple), super or hyper migthy g, or for an easy alternative mix the *has forgotten what it is called* to make all your attacks critical hits. To do this simply mix a stat sphere (one you wont be using for a long time, such as a Luck Sphere) with a musk. This'll make the fight alot quicker. Don't listen to Snaggle she's being dumb
zombieproof is absoloutely useless, as you NEED characters to be zombified before and during the third round (otherwise you will be defeated by mega death)
Having dark ward or proof is useful for the physical characters youll be using for regular attacks because Yunalesca will counter with Blind. Simply switch out the third character (it starts as rikku) each turn after using the overdrive (make sure everyone else gets a turn also).
Haste is nice for your two attacking characters, but she can dispel it, so it may be a wasted turn.
Basically just unload overdrives into her second and third form, all 7 characters plus your (at least) 5 aeons is enough to take off the combined 108,000 hp total of her second and third forms, using physical attacks (maybe aided by crits) to deal with the 24,000hp first section.
Persistance is the key, it isn't a truly worrying battle.
Do note however that it's probably better to use the aeons when Yunalesca is close to death, because she will usually absorb a large amount of the damage she takes BACK from the aeons.
