Well, some would wonder why I bother to make a message here, since I am rather apatthetic on the subject..
But there are some good points that have already been pointed out, and would just like to say a few things about them.
Personally, I do not really care what other people do, as long as I am lect out of it.
But in a closer look, many people try drugs out of curiosity..some stay because they need to evade reality.
Perhaps it is I who is weak, but I find this world in which we live a rather harsh and deplorable place..so whatever it is people may find to ease from their suffering is very understanble, at least I think so, if I were ever to be asked.
On the other hand, drugs have nasty side effects and results...and not all those who use them are quite aware of it.
They should probably inform themselves first, or at the very least use better judgement? In any case, what others do is none of my concern.
But for those whom it may erk..someone already mentioned it here...how come heroine or cocaine is illegal, while tobacco and alcohol is not?
Indeed, heroine will kill faster, but tobacco kills a lot more. I mentioned the need to escape reality, and oftentimes, people may use alcohol just for that matter, but correct me if I am wrong, but it more often then not makes everything worse.
The only reason I can think of such a ridiculous twist of law is because, alcohol and tobacco are profitable.
Even if it kills or ruins more lives then any other drug ever could.
If these other substances could be made to harvest profit, I am sure they would be legal as well.
The moral part of the subject leads me to think that all these things should be destroyed, but people use them all the time. They are a part of our lives, and it ends there. So it could never happen..and if it did, what kind of state would our society be in?
Because many different people use drugs, or drink..not just the stereotypical kids and punks everyone labels.
And besides,
I smoke cigarettes, so they better never make them illegal..or I shall go crazy.
