Yes I remember that one being a bit confusing until I found the trick... you have to go through the Zertinan Caverns. You cannot get to the appropriate pillar from the Sandsea itself. Cause I remember I searched the entire Nam-Yensa/Withering Shores area from top to bottom about an hour trying to figure out how to get to the appropriate part of the map. Here's what you do Mrs. Lockheart:
1. Go to the Ogir-Yensa Sandsea and enter the Zertinan Caverns, the entrance is about right in the middle of the Ogir-Yensa map. It's North-East from the Orange Savepoint/Airship anchor. But there are two entrances to the Zertinan Caverns from this area, so make sure you are taking the one located in the Central Junction.
2. Follow the cave down then west and then up again until it comes up in a steep slope towards the Nam-Yensa Sandsea and then you are basically there.
This was a very fun hunt, there is a surprise waiting for you once you get there. Good luck.
As for me... I am still having a heck of a time trying to get the Fafnir hunt to appear in the Paramina Rift. I have been to the location hundreds of times now, but he won't show up. I just don't get it. He will only arrive when there is a blizzard, but this never happens for me. I only get the usual light snow, or no weather at all. Has anyone else had this problem? This is one of my last hunts to complete so I'd like to finally get this one done.
