...approxamitely ten years ago, I purchased a copy of Castlevania Symphony of the Night. A used copy, for fifty dollars. I had seen it for the first time in an anime convention I had went to, then decided I so wanted it, but I could not find it anywhere.
I was back living with my father then, and got a weekend job at a Jamaican restaurant.

So when I got my first pay, I went to the video game store (Microplay) and saw the game there...I bought it, along with a Final Fantasy Tactics strategy guide for some reason.

So, it seems that Symphony of the Night has been my favourite video game ever for the past ten years, as to this day, I still play it.

When I first got it, I remember playing it half an hour before having to go to work on Friday night. But I was having so much fun that...I went to the restaurant which was located about five minutes from where I lived, told them I quit, and went back home to play Castlevania. XD

When I moved from Manitoba to here, it was one of the few games that I took along with me. Everything else I left behind. It feels like a long time friend. XD

So to celebrate my ten year near like obsessive fanhood, I uh...hmm.

Oh and, general Castlevania series discussion thread this is. Any game in the series.
