Allow me to elaborate the existence of the Xenosaga series...it is a trilogy now, however it was meant to have six titles. These games were actually meant to completely clarify all the intricacies of Xenogears-there were meant to be some sort of -the deleted scenes- or -the expansion- of Xenogears. It was meant to simplify everything that had confused us in Xenogears...
However it failed miserably, and confused the players even more. Xenosaga does have plot synopsises on the Internet, the story is not nonsensical, however its execution at telling a plot was done in the most wrongest methods I can possibly think of.
I SAY it makes sense, as it does apparently, but while playing, I did not grasp a thing...the collective subconscious of mankind has taken physical manifestation, it is called Voodoo and it eats planets and,...well, I have no idea.
This does not mean that they are not fun games, but do not think you will understand anything pertaining to Xenogears that it was meant to clarify-especially not when it introduces all new characters and elements.

I've never played a game where I've been able to control a vampire which is a shame, I've had to make do with slaying them in awful games like Buffy the vampire slayer and a game called Drucula which i have for the PC which isn't bad.

They have made ports of Dracula Last Sanctuary and Resurrection for the PlayStation which I own. Would have been nice to have the entire trilogy, but right...those games are fine, although I am not much for point and click puzzle solving games. I got them merely because I love most of anything that has to do with Dracula, and although the gameplay did not make me jump for joy, I loved the ambiance. These games closely followed the older variations of Dracula through all entertainment mediums such as novels and films, and this I much appreciated. They sure gave Mina these huge hooters though. :O

LOL, right on sister!
I remember playing Super Castlevania for the Super NES for hours and hours with my best friend when we were in elementary school. It was so much fun and a welcome change from the usual RPGs we usually ALWAYS played (such as the FF titles). We used to have sleep-overs and just play it all nite, and our brains would get so into it that we'd start to freak each other out just for fun.

Aaaw, this sounds like grand times! Playing creepy vampire games all night long. *Raises fist!*
Super Castlevania IV. I have spent much time playing this one as well, although it was one of the games I had left behind.
Also, I am ashamed to say that I could never pass the Clocktower stage...
