I was originally going to name this ''The Final Fantasy characters who look like film characters thread'', but that was a bit long..

I was watching Pirates of the Caribbean last night, and I was thinking that Will Turner sort of looked like Balthier from Final Fantasy XII...it reminded me on how some characters from other Final Fantasy games kind of looked like some characters from other movies..so I made a thread about it.

First, look at this one.



Balthier and Will Turner, aka Legolas, heh.
There is a bit of a resemblance, and both of them are pirates, although of slightly different kinds, heh. They even have a similar dress style.



Cyan Garamonde and Ramirez from the Highlander movie. And they are both proficient with the katana. The version of Ramirez from the Highlander cartoon looks even more like him, although I could find no picture.

Any comments..? Do you think that some video game characters were highly based from film characters?

And, if you can think of other similiraties with other characters, please post it here.

It does not have to be only Final Fantasy though, it can be from any game.

And finally, Edgar from Final Fantasy VI and Lestat Delioncourt from the Vampire Chronicles..I always thought the resemblance was uncanny.
