Default Top Ten Favourite Movies.

Make a list of your ten favourite movies. You might also tell us why you like them, if you wish.
Here are mine, although in no particular order.

I-Trainspotting
I never get bored of watching it, and I perosnaly think everyone owes it to themselves to have it a look.

II-Conan the Barbarian
Conan was my childhood hero, heh...when I was younger, I used to think that Arnold Schwarzenegger was such a hunk, although I do not really feel that way anymore, the story of Conan still remains to me an epic. I like the comic books as well.

III-Halloween II
For the simple reason that Michael Myers is the only slasher that ever managed to traumatize me with fear when I first saw it.

IV-Sleepy Hollow
I cannot truly say what I like about this film...the style, the story and everything seems so well done.

V-Ninja Scroll
I was never much into anime, but this one is purely awesome. I have no idea how the plot stands out for an anime standard, but I like it. And all that violence!

VI-Edward Scissor Hands
Well, tis' a classic tale, which never fails to stir one's emotions.

VII-Eraserhead
The most disturbing film I have ever seen, all told through symbolism. A great concept, and it just freaks me out.

VIII-Dracula Love Never Dies
I always enjoyed the book, and this 1992 version stays very faithful to the most important elements of what made the story great. Well, almost, but I'll not complain.

IX-Jacobb's Ladder
Another strange film by David Lynch, once again using symbols to tell a story, and once again done in a great way. Also pretty creepy.

X-The Crow
A man who comes back from the dead in order to exact revenge on the unjust murder of his love. It starts this way, and goes much further.
*Goosebumps.* Tis' a great film.

And now, your turn.

Yeh i've heard of it

1 Once upon a time in america (1984)
You see, I have a story too, Mr. Bailey. I had a friend once. A dear friend. I turned him in to save his life. He died. But he wanted it that way. Things went bad for my friend, and they went bad for me too.

2 Braveheart (1995)
And dying in your bed many years from now,
would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for
one chance, just one cahnce, to come back here as young men and tell
our enemies that they may take our lives but they will never take
our freedom!"

3 The Godfather Part 1 (1972)
I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse.

4 The Godfather Part 2 (1974)
There are many things my father taught me here in this room. He taught me: keep your friends close, but your enemies closer.

5 Scarface (1983)
The World Is Yours

6 Angels with dirty faces (1938 )
All right, fellas... let's go and say a prayer for a boy who couldn't run as fast as I could.

7 Forrest Gump (1994)
Life is like a box of chocolates...you never know what you're gonna get

8 The Great Escape (1963)
Von Luger: Are all American officers so ill-mannered?
Hilts: Yeah, about 99 percent.
Von Luger: Then perhaps while you are with us you will have a chance to learn some. Ten days isolation, Hilts.
Hilts: *Captain* Hilts.
Von Luger: Twenty days.
Hilts: Right. Oh, uh, you'll still be here when I get out?
Von Luger: [visibly annoyed] Cooler

9 One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975)
I'm not goin' without you, Mac. I wouldn't leave you this way... You're coming with me.

10 Cool Hand Luke (1967)
"What we've got here is failure to communicate."

(In no particular order)

I:Silence of The Lambs

I love the storyline, and the gore of the cannibalism.

II:Red Dragon

^Same as above^

III:Hannibal

^Same as above^

IV:Spiderman 3

Liked the storyline, filled with action, a few shocks, but overall a very complex yet effective film. Although a little farfetched.

V:Terminator 2: Judgement Day

Very good storyline, Arnie kicks ass yet again, lots of action!

V: Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines

^same as above^

VI:Saving Private Ryan

Like the way the film is set out, especially with D-Day, and you see the war from nearly everybodys point of view. 'FUBAR'.

VII:Lord of The Rings:Fellowship of the Ring

I personally love sword and shield age fighting, so this had to be one of my favs.

VIII:Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers

^Same as above^

IX:Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King

^Same as above^

X:War of the Worlds (2005)

I'm also into aliens and invasions, and the extra touch of instant death from the heat ray really made me enjoy (in a sick way I guess,) this film.

If there was up to twenty I would do the Star Wars saga, Bruce Almighty, Anger Management, Happy Gilmore and Big Daddy.

I do not know what the hell I was consuming, but Jacob's Ladder is NOT directed by David Lynch.

Eeeh...sorry.
