i liked ff6 and ff9
though i love ff7 it has been given to much credit and taken all the lime light and left poor little classics like ff1 and 2 in the shadows....i hated ff8 though no good vilian in it nothing the only thing that can be praised is the graffics and squall...

I'm gonna have to go with FFVII as it was not only the first RPG or final fantasy I played, but it was also the first game I got for my playstation so it holds sentimental value for me, plus I've a lot of fond memories of playing the game since it took me a good 8-months and many restarts to finally finish the thing. But it just stands out to me. Even though the later games like FFX had much better graphics somehow I just prefer the whole style of the VII and think that no matter how hard they try they'll never make a game as good as it ever

Final Fantasy VII for me, it has great and really interesting characters, the story is simply amazing, the graphics werent the best but who cares, FFVII is easily the best FF.
In order, the best FF games are:-
1. Final Fantasy VII
2. Final Fantasy X
3. Final Fantasy VIII
4. Final Fantasy IX
5. Final Fantasy V
6. Final Fantasy IV
7. Final Fantasy VI
8. Final Fantasy I
9. Final Fantasy III

I'm not really qualified as I don't have a PS2 or FF  , but from the wikipedia the MMPORG one sounds good (ach, which one was it?) and X & X-2 sound interesting, I really must find out if Tidus is a whiner/not... But hey, whiners can be good sometimes, they point out problems which others don't see...

Ffvii
FFVII is one of the best games ever made in my oppinion, I have beet it so miny times and it is still the funnist game ever made.

Has any one in this forum played ff12?
Final Fantacy 10 was the first final fantacy i played and i got hooked immediatly. 10-2 really bugged me because in was so different. next i tried ff8 but it did'nt quite have that hook of 10 and 10-2. Then, this christmas, i got ff12. It is awesome!!! ive almost beat it. |

If the poll had X and X-2 seperatly then I'd have voted for X. But, as that isn't so, I was dreadfully torn between VII and VIII. VIII got my vote in the end, best story in any FF, and the great mix of Cards/Junctioning/Refining and stuff just made it so much fun.
