Problems at Earthgift Shrine (PSP Version)

I'm stuck in the Earthgift shrine. I Beat the Lich and got the first Crystal. When I beat him there is a cut-scene to the Earthgift shrine where there is a statue of the lich. It disappears and behind it is a door. The fellow there says he took a peek and there seems to be lots of monsters so be careful. Anyways, after going a few levels down, I come to a desert with various chest's around. Then there is a set of stairs that leads to a room with several blue flames, each when approached revealed a boss. They are all too hard for my characters and I need to find a way out of this place. The farthest back I can get is the desert area. I NEED TO KNOW. Am I stuck here?

If you fight them and lose it is not game over. your transported out of the dungeon with 1 Hp. If you want to beat them, Wait untill after you have restored another crystal. You will be high enough level then.

Thanks. Life saver. I thought I might have to start a new file. I'm really happy I didn't make such a stupid mistake.

Im glad i could be of help. I only got my copy a few weeks ago. I got the psp only 4 weeks ago.

Im also having some problems with earthgift shrine. i beat the lich, unlocked the door in earthgift shrine and lost to the bosses about thirty times. well, i finaly bet one and the only thing it would let me do is walk onto the white platform behind where the blue flame was. i did that, then went to another room with no doors only another white platform that takes me back to the beggining of earthgift. so i went back down three more times and beat the other three bosses, and same thing. all four times it sends me back and i cant go back through the red door after i beat them, i have to take the white platform. so i beat all four of them, now what. it doesnt say anything and nothing happened.

It is reall just a place to have fun killing things. there are three others which are just places for extra levels and prizes.

I've only had the game a couple of hours and I'm already hooked!!! I only went to the castle so far, I'm level-grinding in the Cornelia area because I want to be pretty souped up. I think I've seen the cave where I need to go, but I'm not going yet! I want to get to about lvl 15 before I do, I'm already halfway

Yay!!! Only got to wait for Crisis Core now ^^

Not untill you get into the story, the first story dungeon is the chaos shrine farther north.

Yay I just did that today. I only level grinded to 8, then beat Garland pretty easy

Though now I'm headed north and not sure which way to go. Any ideas?

Pretty hard to know what to do at first isn't it? Go west to the next town. Youll get a ship after you beat a few pirates. After which, you cross the ocean.

There is very little stroyline in the game. you've just got to figure out where to go.

Also don't forget to travel north from the new bridge and visit the witch Matoya and her wacky brooms.
