Need help on Final Fantasy III

I just got this game, like, a week ago(i've been getting into FF alot lately) and i'm stuck at Nepto Temple. I've already shrunk, and I tried going into the statue's mouth, but it won't let me........

I have not played this game in about ten years. So I am afraid even I cannot answer that one as I just can't remember. Perhaps JET could answer this one, I know he played the DS version recently. Right JET?

Actually, i doubt I could. I had the same problem, but it was a while back, when I first got the game. The only things I can think of off hand are that perhaps you need to talk to a particular one of the vikings first, like the chief or clan sage or both in a certain order. Sometimes if one is using a strategy guide, you may skip things that seem unnecessary but that are required for the game (such as information gathering) Also, make sure your entire party is affected by mini. You appear minimized on the overworld screen if your lead party member is affected, but other party members may be full-size. Last, it could simply be that you need to use the "look" function in full-size mode to see that the statue's mouth opens onto a tunnel. Other than those, I would have to start another save file and go back to look at it myself. Hope that helped!

I don't know if you have the same problem so I hope I can help a bit.

I just beat the game literally one week ago. (an 11 hour long drive finally made that possible)
Don't make the same mistake I did. There's a button when you cast most spells. It'll say something along the lines of "Cast on all members" or party or whatever.e

After that, make sure you travel through all the hidden tunnels. You'll get some VERY useful magic spells

And BTW it took me almost 2 years to beat the game because I would leave it alone for weeks or months at a time because one of the bosses was too strong and I was too lazy to level up.

Make sure when you are at the final boss(s) that you are level 55. It will help immensely
