Lead charecters
Does anyone else agree that the lead charecters in the FF's are going downhill?
Cecil, Cloud, Squall, they were all good, even Zidane was a pretty good lead charecter, but Tidus...... and he wasnt the only one that I didnt think was a good lead charecter, I think they need to step up the main charecters a bit.
Give me your oppinions.

Your dead right Auron. Tidus was rubbish and yuna for FF X-2 wasnt my cup of tea either. Zidane was ok but not as good as previous characters. Square in my opinion need to get back to the clouds and squalls. Also im abit worried because of the screens iv seen of Vaan from XII so far remind me of tidus!!! but i pray square wont make the same mistake again.

well as lead characters go cloud was a hard act to follow and squall wasnt as good but he wasnt terrible its sort of gone in progression from 7 on a downwards spiral i mean yeah zidane was cool but nothing in the same league as cloud or squall .the worst has to be yuna in ffx2 and tidus a close second but i dont think you really have to worry i think the second generation games were focusing on the fact that characters actually spoke out loud ii think the next ff will be a combination of graphics/audio and character depth +not as whinny as tidus

Good point, though i myself loved squall (Well obviously!!) but think your right is saying that cloud was an almost impossible act to follow!! alot of gamers would have built cloud up to almost god like status by the time they even played VIII so it was really tough on Squall that way. But has anyone seen anything on Vaan yet, the lead of XII and if so any first impressions??

dont think theres a fan who can from what ive discovered this should be a ff to rival the first ff games in size because to be honest 10 and 10/2 seem really short also i love the fact youre getting more airships

definatly, airships rock. yea without a proper world map in X it did seem much shorter that the others to me as well. Think the storyline is shaping up brilliantly also
