Did the graphics deduct from the emotion?

I thought It was a bit hard to feel for the characters when they were 2d. It just reminded me they aren't real.

Well i always wanted the visuals that put me in the game.. PS3...
people who had to live in the era of 8-16 bit had to deal with it
these days were spoiled with graphical splenders like:Halo 2 (xbox)
i think the story,the adventure,the classic ff gameplay injects it with just
enough emotion.Graphics? FOOIE!

I loved the graphics in FFX they made me really get into the game.

I really couldn't believe the Bahamut summon in FFX
it was a remake of the FFVII Bahamut, but the music..
everything about that game is spectacular.

I'd like to continue, though this isn't the FFX thread.

I also thought that the bit in FFVI where, if one of the characters became shocked, then their eyes bulged out, I wasn't too keen on that.
