Strategy Guide Lies
In most Guides I read, they say you should be "x" level to beat "n". But in my playing, I am usually half that level and am still able to beat the thing. Does anybody else share this with me?

It gives a boosted recommended level, so that if you're at that level you can beat the enemy with relative ease.

I'm normally at a higher level than the monster.
I kid, but it's a walk in the park for me with most things in this game. Probably cus I've played it so many times

I am mostly a few levels higher, It is not too hard to beat after you get a little stronger.

Aye, The reason I believe they do this is because the maker of the guides, (I have the brady games one) They underestimate the intellegence and the capibility of the players. They think they are the best video gamers because they publish their opinons. But I shouldn't complain becasue they are helpful!

There are different levels, which are obtained through the sphere grid i think. But i only thought there were four of them. You have to defeat certain bosses to gain the key spheres which unlocks the levels. I don't know whether this is what you mean. There are also certain stages when the character 'levels up' right? I've ordered the guide for FFX/2, are they any good really?

No, I dont think thats what they meant.
The guides are pretty good, but they can be a little misleading at times.
