The problem with the next generation was that most of them were crap!Christal Chronicals, X-2 and XI all not very good. Stick to X and Star Ocean instead!

I agree, but I think it was beause of Square changing to Square-Enix, they proberably lost staff, FF12 will make a difference I think.

Dirge of cereberus looks awesome. But the again, so did X-2 until Rikku opened her mouth.

FFX Rikku, maybe, but X-2... *shudders*
I liked X, XII, and a few parts of X-2. Hated what of Crystal Cronicles I played, HATED most of X-2, never played XI but some of it seemed worth playing. Haven't played Dirge of Cerberus yet, hoping to rent it, possibly later this week.
Overall, however, I couldn't possibly rank my favorites between original games, 3-d era, and next generation.
Will Next Generation continue to be called "the Next Generation" if XIII turns out to be a whole new level of the series?

Well there ok i guess, i hated XII, X was good but i got stuck then got bored lol.
I will go back to it, Final Fantasy VII had to get in my way though :P.
