i would like to say my source is reliable but the behind the counter list at game lies as much as common rumor and as i say ff12 is meant to be one of the last main titles released for ps2 and that means just before may

Even though it's the last FF title on the PS2 doesen't mean that it'll come out that early, take Kingdom Hearts 2 for example, it come's out March in the US, but here in the UK we get it Summer 2006. FFXII is supposed to come out around August in America, but since it's Square-Enix were talking about, i wouldn't be suprised if it came out May and was on the PS3.

I'm not buying FFXII anyway, i think Square were stupid in taking out the world map and Random Encounter's, meaning it'll be really easy to Do a Low-Level game now. :P

^ It might be my bad memory, but did Square-Enix make CC? I Remember it saying "Square Designer Studio's" on the box, but i didn't see the Square-Enix logo.
Also, let's just hope you're right with that statement.

Yea Square E made it. But hey we all make mistakes. They can still get it right and Star Ocean is a good example of how no world map and a different battle system can still be made into a quality game. Star Ocean was brilliant.

Yeah, Star Ocean was a very good game, especially number 3, but thankgod Square decided to keep the ATB in FFXII. I'm going to buy it anyway, since i've played nearly every FF up to now and i might as well play number 12. I still liked FFX anyway and that had no world map.

still it will be a bit of a shock for us old old fans since the days of ff1 theres always been ATB in one form or another it was constant something we though would last forever luckily as time has passed out almost sholin like final fantasy playing skills have evolved so that we may triumph ovet this new attack system +you get diffrent airships and for some absurd reason since 10 i have missed vehicles like you wouldnt belive or at least the ability to pilot them

Yea i know what you mean, theres something special about being able to jump in a airship and just flying to wherever you want. I was up all last nite just driving around in a rented car in FFVIII - So much fun!

OH Yeah the car that was awsome i loved the fact that it actually used fuel and could run out just amused me somewhat
