Opinions about FFXII (NOT FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVENT FINISHED IT)

Well just finished the game tonight. loved it. great job square enix. it has a great storyline, love the battle system and it is my second fav ff game next to X. just because i finished it definately does not mean i am done with it (the are TONS of things to do). The only problem I have is that there are SO many sidequests and i dont know if i have the patience to finish all of them in the next few months....though i will definately finish them by next summer. So..what did everyone think of it? in my opinion i find no need for a Revenant Wings. just an excuse for square to make money off of us.

as always you can finish story very fast but you won't see the best parts. i finished it fast but now im trying to hunt all marks i stuck on ( i think so) last one lvl VIII. he have 50 dots under life bar every time when his life on the bar ends dot is disapearing and he again get new life. i have lvl83 and after 3 hours i destroyed 5 dots )

im level 35 atm (right now, in about an hour ill be around 40) and i just defeated zalera. I also know tonnes of ways to make money and great levellling up strategies, for some reason my characters are way too strong for their levels.

if anyone is having trouble with any part of the game please ask me, i am very good on the game, mastered the A.D.B. system in around 3 seconds and have the strategy guide, (not that i need it), p.s. if anyone kills the Ultimate Mark please tell me, i will congratulate you and add you to my family.

I have to admit that the game didn't really get good for me till around the 30 hour mark, but the battle system IS awesome. The story is ok but, character development is poor. Is there any reason for Penelo and Vaan at all? Or to a lesser extent Fran?

Anyhoo, just hit 65 hours having finished the main quest, just training and doing sidequests and hunts so I can fight Omega

Penelo is useful with quickening chains i think, i can hit max 50,000 with ashe,basch and penalo, , but really penelo should have stayed in Rabanastre.

mine was probably Balthier, he seems to be the only halfway developed character. i agree with you tho, penelo should have stayed in rababstre, and vaan just annoyed me.... i thought fran was alright, but i think her whole point was being balthier's sky pirate partner. honestly, try and think of balthier without her. close you eyes and try it now....... nope, i can't see it.

Balthier was probably my favourite character also, though I never used him in my party (Vaan - Basch - Penelo)

Balthier was going to be the main protagonist, but they axed the idea. That would've been much better, in my opinion.

yeah, they should have done that.... i thought it was slightly sad with the whole doctor cis thing. he was mean to balthier even when he was dying, called him 'foll of a pirate' or something...
