Currently there are plans afoot to get Glayden pants...

The whole subligar thing was all last year and just so out of fashion in Vana'diel.

hehe welcome again sir, I anyone else would like to visit our world this is our current newsletter. Yes it is a MMORPG but it still is Final Fantasy and you can even raise from an egg your own chocobo then raise them in the Chocobo circuit. That being said I have to tell you that the appearance of Glayden did bring up round and round topics on the ls chat late last night. I still say even though I love FFXI and play it a lot, this game is the "worst" of the whole series for content and music. Cant believe I would say that about any FF game but XI does not even have but 1 FMV that all fans enjoy so much from Square. The rest of the story is told thru CS that are like FFX, which are good but you do miss the cool graphics.

Happy to report I have spotted Glayden again today in Vana'diel. This time he did have on few more cloths but was standing in a sand storm in the dunes. We have initiated a project now to raise the level of Glayden and get him out of that evil place. .. hehe

Was good to see you sir and hope you come on FFXI more often. /bow

This is picture of our end game members killing gods in Sky. When you get seriously into FFXI this is what your in for !

no sir that is just big, evil turtle.. hehe

Yeppers that is adamantoise, just like the other games. Takes 18 people in alliance to kill it over 20 minutes or so, with swapping members in and out that have rested.

This is another of them up there..

aw wow, now you see this looks like so much fun. and this is the main thing I take issue with in this game... the amount of time it takes to be able to do fun stuff like this. I suppose I've just been blessed with a short attention span so I get bored easily of seeing the same thing over and over, and I can only kill so many damn orcs, mad sheep, goblins, and bats around the same rolling green fields before I soon get disinterested. it's only been my love of the FF series overall that has kept my character alive. but I'm not giving up on this game, I'm gonna keep pressing on until I can taking amazing monsters such as this... um, hmm, what is that monster anyways? I'm gonna guess... a wyvern of some sort.

Ok I totally admit that after the first six months of game way back, I only got to level 22 Warrior. Next month I will celebrate my 5th year of playing and I have to say that Square with all its changes has caused that me to stay. If the game was the same as old day then I would have left long ago. There is many fixes now to make time more manageable down to a 2 or 3 hour span. There is still the problem of the first 50 levels I admit. But I have 10 or so new guys that I have been helping through that startup this last month. Its not impossible now to get to lvl 30 or 40 in a month of playing once a day or so.

Buckup Glayden sir, one of them is 41 year old mother of 4 kids, who has yes just got sub job level 18 status in 3 weeks. You being a brave and younger adventurer need to get out there and kill some more bunnies !

Well from what I've managed to pick up from the fanboys (and girls ) Square has indeed tebian made many considerable improvements to the overall mechanics of the game. I started playing about a year ago now and have to admit that I've picked up on one or two little tweaks that have made things run smoother.

But it would seem tis the nature of the MMORPG, that it is time consuming and closer reflects the nature of "real life". Allowing us to meet people in the world and forge bonds and relationships with other players over an extended period of time. If a player was able to get to lvl 75 in the amount of time it takes a player to get to that lvl in FFI-X Vana'diel would quickly become flooded with gods. so I suppose there is a certain balance which Square is required to maintain. And I can understand that.

I will press on.

I think I will choose white mage as my subclass, so that I may start dabbling in some magic. But I'll ponder it over and see. As I had mentioned to you in-game, the monk class appeals to me as well.

But do not despair my friend, I will indeed continue to slay those damn bunnies until Glayden is one day worthy enough to fight along side you. Just give me some time. LOL.

PS How did you get your signature? Would love one for my character.

The signature is part of one of the websites we use a lot for Final Fantasy XI. The forums there are rough by anyone's standards so beware, but you can make signatures for you char and job through their profile system.
