The Monstor Man of FF10
The hardest bosses in the non-international version of FF10 have to bee those created by the guy in the calm lands when you capture fiends for him. Im having trouble beating some of them, (And im sure not the only one) Here is a worthy place for tips. Right now Im still captureing fiends with hopes of getting a fair amount of Dark matters. But i hope to defeat the Neslug soon. Any Tips?

Get the 99 underdogs spirit from Rin for completing your primers, get some overdrive to ap weapons, go fight the Don Tonberry and farm AP.
With the right setup (e.g. Triple Overdrive, Double/Triple AP, Overdrive -> AP) weapons, set your OD mode to comrade, and just keep attacking the don until he gets into attack range, then flee. Auto-phoenix helps, auto-haste doesn't - always recast haste.
Depending on your setup, you can get 99 sphere levels a fight.
GG any arena creation once your stats are high enough.
Then when youre capable of fighting the arena creations and winning, you can farm the different types of spheres from Species Conquest (e.g. Strength Spheres, Agility Spheres etc.).
Break HP Limit isn't a necessity as long as your defence is high enough, but it helps to have around 14/15k Hp on your characters.
What else..
When fighting in the Monster Arena, your best friends are Wakka's attack reel overdrive and Tidus' blitz ace (or slice and dice depending on the defence of the monster you're fighting).
All in all just try and find a setup where you can get easy exp from the Don Tonberry area creation, that's the main thing. Then everything else will fall into place once your stats go up.
Best source of Dark matter for you? Well you get 99 for capturing 5 of every monster, but once you unlock Shinryu he is also a pretty easy source (providing your Wakka, Tidus and Rikku have high enough agility + auto haste and can hit for 99999 comfortably).
Unfortunately since you play International you can't get equipment from the Dark Aeons. The first 4 are very easy and you're able to fight Dark Yojimbo an unlimited amount of times, and he's got low HP, so that's how I usually get good equip/dark matters.

Thanks VITG. IM currently trying to beat the NeSlug. I have no trouble surviving and dealing lots of damage but once it gets within its shell it heals like 100000 life each round and becomes immune to physical damage. I can do alot of damage with Magic but it is only as good as about 75000 each round I havn't been training Lulu, Yuna and Rikku as much as Tidus, Wakka and Auron, (at least not as far as magics go.) I suppose but any advice is welcome.

Neslug isn't too difficult. It has been a while since I played so I don't know the exact stat your strength needs:
Start with a perfect attack reels (12 x 99,999) and quick hits (for 99,999). By the time you get to your last turn Neslug will have taken 1,999,980 damage, then use Entrust to give Wakka another overdrive and get another perfect attack reel to break the shell

Yeah. He has 4 million hp, after 2 million he retreats into his shell and gets the horrible undispelable regen, and after 3 million his shell breaks so he cant. Thats why it's important to use attack reels just before you hit 2 million damage, because then you can bypass the regen phase
