Any More News On FF13? - Final Fantasy Net

Has anybody got any more news on the latest FF concern? So far I have heard it isn't to be released on the Xbox 360, which would be wise for Square Enix.

What do you guys think about the next stepping stone to the series? I'm not going to buy it until I hear a few good reviews on the game.

Unless this white engine is only do-able on the PS3, I think it's a ridiculous idea not to put it onto the 360. More people own the 360 in the west, more people are willing to buy a new 360 over a PS3 in the west. If I did end up getting a PS3 it would only be to play the console exclusive FF and Kingdom Hearts titles, and frankly it annoys me that they force me to.

As for what I've seen, the two PS3 titles in the XIII series look great. Fantastic graphics, interesting cutscenes, and I like the idea that Versus is going to be more of an action-rpg.

I've heard a rumour that SE are going to tie in all the final fantasy games (hopefully except X-2) into an interesting bundle somehow in the next game, but wouldnt that result in around 8 Cids in the storyline?

Those are the new trailers that are included in the companion DVD that comes with the new CLOUD magazine released by Square-Enix in Japan just about a week or two ago. It also included a new trailer for the forthcoming BlueRay version of FFVII: Advent Children Complete. Plus many other new trailers for upcoming SEnix releases.

Unfortunately Firesnake, it won't be happening for the 360, Tetsuya Nomura himself has stated in several interviews that the next instalment of the FF series will be exclusively for the PS3. Start saving for that system.

i will buy the ps3 only for those 2 games(and, of course, god of war3). . .to hades/hell with anything else. . .i got a 360 for that. . .

That's what I'm doing as well. I'm not forking out a penny for a PS3 until the day these two games are released. Theres no point for me because there are simply no games out for this system that I would currently be interested in playing. Hopefully by then it'll be a little cheaper.
