Question about Via Infinito - Final Fantasy Net

I was just wondering, is it possible to get 100% completion without doing Via Infinito. It just takes too much time. If not, does anyone have any tips of making the trip though it easy?

Nvm I've a new a question. I was wondering if I can access Via Infinito if I had done stuff in the Farplane. Like if I leveled up in the Farplane and boarded the Airship, can I go back to Via Infinito? Is the boss you have to defeat in the Cactuar Nation hard? Is so, can I do the same thing by leveling up in the Farplane and then come back and fight the boss?

yeah you can acecess it, the via infinito is only available in Chapter 5, the cactuar nation boss is hard only if you arent ready yeah once you control the airship you can go to any place at any time, and if youre still wondering about the first question ill just go ahead and answer them. you can still get the 100% from what i know, and if not just lvl up and when you get to lvl 40 of the via infinito youll get an equip cat nip wich will really help you out

Yeah I beat the Cactaur Nation boss but in the end I didn't end up doing Via Infinito because it got boring and it was too long

. I just did a New Game Plus and chose New Yevon and did the mission in Mushroom Rock Road. And bang I got 100%.

Well I started going back to Via Infinito and now I'm stuck on Chac. Any suggestions cuz I think I gonna pull my hair out. Once again the FAQ's on Gamefaqs have failed me.
