the question is,is hunting morally acceptable man has hunted to eat since the dawn of bunny etc or in this day and age of motorized cow and pig slaughter is hunting needed +fox hunting yay or nay and bonusally for all those who say for hunting yes i get to see a super agravated snaggle tounge ha yes i do

Hunting for food is ok, heck, even if the toffs went mano amano with the foxes, and chased them round the field one on one, i wouldnt mind. However, its when they release a pack of dogs,on one fox, to brutally murder it, then parade it round, whats the point in that?

i know my grandparents country house used to have them hunting all over the grounds till my gran went out ther with a saucepan of boiling water and told them to get off her land she didnt mind the hunt but she hated the dogs thought that hunting was meant to be a challenge not muder but still i wonder what snaggle tounge will say after all she did threaten to shoot anyone who hurts animals ha

In order to alleiviate the problem, we must first find it's roots...as always, society has twisted the mean ing of hunting to mean something that John Doe does just for the hell of it, whereas the normal people all hunt merely for food. I do not believe in a basis such as hunting for sport...hence, the reason I don't like hunting is because the american society and government is the south end of a northbound horse.

as long as it's for food, NEEDED clothing or for other such materials (making weapons from bone etc) then it's ok.

Interesting question, except it isn't simply a yes or no question. I don't care about anyone killing a deer with a landmine. I just don't think its a question of morality. Its not a human so why should we care? Nobody cares when we kill a mosquito or a housefly. But that doesn't mean I think hunting is a good thing. I do not favor hunting for sport because I just don't see the point, but I would still vote for allowing it simply as one of our freedoms. But then again, I believe it should be carefully regulated so the balance of life is kept and no species are hunted to extinction. So I checked both the yes and the no box
