ghosts are supposed to be spirits that have a strong emotion or feeling bonding them to a certain place, the thing about places being haunted, etc

A mix. Cherokee and Simenole and some creek, on my father's side. He was discriminated
against as a child. Due to that, I was brought up primarily white. The only time I
really got to know anything about my heritage was around other family members, and
even then, my Father kept it limited. When he died, he had no rituals preformed.
Not even what is called a farewell hand-shake. ( People line up and walk around the
grave, as they pass, they grab a peice of the earth taken from the ground where the
whole was dug, and release it onto their loved one )
That is why I asked about "ghosts". There are times when I can still feel my father"s
presence. But that's probably just me wanting to feel close to him.

didnt we say that ghosts might be faint images of someone in a parrel dimension that you can see because of a weakness in the barrier of the multiverse snaggle tounge.
so yes i can believe in ghosts whether they are actually dead people or faint reflections of another world /universe i dont know but i prefer the more scientific idea

Such a sad story Lisa1968, but still it goes to show how traditions are being lost, especially in death. I personally dont believe in ghosts, as you say we all miss our loved ones and want to feel close to them, but In all honesty I think its just our emotions in our minds and hearts and not an actual entity appearing before us affecting us in someway

That sounds true but some people actually see there loved ones the question is are they ghosdts or hallucinations but in truth i probably have a desire to wish in ghosts and am arguing a unprovable point.

Well, in truth, I do belive in ghosts. I belive in Spirits. I have experienced some weird things
in my life, but who's to say, maybe I'm just crazy. My mother said I was a vailed baby.
Like my grandmother was. She ( my grandma ) had some weird things happen to her.
I think the strangest was that the last time any of my family saw her, she gave all of
her belongings away. She told her brother, that they would not be seeing eachother again.
He told her it was non-sence. My grandmother died that same evening in her sleep.

So how do you think these people know?
My grandmother was healthy. She just knew. She also knew when other
people were about to die, or if something major was about to happen within
our family, good or bad. Some things just can't be explained in this world
I guess.

I really dont know my Father said his father just knew said his goodbyes and gave him some advice and stuff prehaps it was like a premonition a feeling of the impending end .
That wkould be my best guess as my father did it too premonition sounds about right and according to my gran my great gran did the same as well but prehaps when your going to die you can feel your body giving up sllowly starting to rest ?

I believe that ghosts are those who are trapped between worlds, scared of their fate if they do "crossover", or don't even know they're dead. Of course, a lot of what people say are ghosts are just astrol projectios of history playing itself through again.
