if we do to mars what we are doing to earth now with greenhouse gasses and stuff, they think mars might be able to support life.
Also once the sun ages abit and gets abit bigger 1 of jupiters moon and one of saturns maybe able to supports life too. I cant remember the name of the moon from jupiter but saturns is Titan

I think life does exist on other planets. Think of how many planets are out there! It's
more than possible, it's probable.

and yes i think we will know if there is intelligent life before we die certanly in this generation all we really need to assume there are forms of life is water because that is the basis of all life and we cannot possibly be the only source of water in the universe that has exsisted for along enough time for intelligent life to evolve from

My views on life on other planets - couldnt care less really, if they're there, they're there, if they are not, meh. I got enough things to worry and like on earth, I think we should get our own planet sorted out first before we go nosing for another.

Yes because I do have an opinon on it, which is I dont consider the idea of alien life forms a reasonable human endevour. Its still my view on the issue of aliens and thus I have a right to express it in the topic covering it, If I put that viewpoint in the abortion topic, then I wouldnt be justfied making a point about my views of a completly different topic.

What the HELL does that mean?

Rather than wait for you to answer, I'll take it as meaning that "the research into aliens" is a waste of time. Well, you'll be glad to know that no government funding goes into the research of aliens.

But seeing as this is a forum, and a philosophical forum at that, bursting into a thread that addresses whether or not aliens exist and NOT whether searching for aliens is a good use of time, just to say "I don't really care" sounds an awful lot like spam.

Anyway back to topic, I believe that aliens are a waste of our time, any thoughts on this?

Yes and no activley looking for aliens is stupid at this time as we simply do not have the tecnolgy to do so prehaps when we finally can leave are solar system then yes but until then really its just idle speculation but in the future it might be worth investigating and besides dont we already have dishs looking for radio signals in the univers /intelligent ones i mean.
