Luck?

Do you believe there is such a state as being "naturally lucky"? or is it all coincidence? or confidence? or both?

I think that sometimes, "Luck" is confidence. If you have the potential to do something, and the confidence to think that, then you will. Sometimes lack of self-confidence lowers "luck" (Such as "Luck with the laydies")

Its hard to deny the exsistence of luck when you see other people continously have good fortune but like snaggle says I can definitley see that confidence has something to do with it so i suppose making your own luck is more than just a expression

I think luck exists only when the person has confidence in themselves for something.

I didnt pass my exams or get into uni on luck - I worked bloody hard for it. So I dont personally believe in luck, just hard work

well you can argue that the laws of physics do. there is a CERTAIN chance that it will rain, that chance can be made into a real figure only if you factor in all variables. there's a whole chaos theory in it and everything.
