Yeah. And the backgrounds would kinda blur until you got closer to them.
And in the underground village, theres a bit where there's some grass stuff in the foreground, as you get closer to the hut it blurs a little, it's geet just right

*Wipes a tear away from eye* Im getting all nastilgic thinking about playing VIII for the first time. God seems like ages ago. I really do think that 12s gona be a return to form and it'll get the interest in the forums going again.

I feel that the main problem with FFX was that it looked good but the quality of the actual game/storyline/etc wasn't all that brilliant.

Anyhow, I'm not sure exactly whether I agree that FF Forums are dying out. I think it may just be a dip after all the "excitement" of Advent Children. Now that all the FFVII fanboys know everything about it, they've all kind vacated the forums, leaving all the normal members/posters to it.

One site that I've been visiting for two and a half years has recently changed to simply a gaming site and no longer specialising on FF... I think that's mostly to do with the changing of ownership (The old admin got married).

EDIT: Oh, also. I think many FF fans were disappointed with FFXI. I was never allowed to get it because it was just online... Which is a bummer.

Ragnarok, the great little guy he is, sent me it on DVD.
Problem is, it wont play on my PS2. But in 2 days time I get a DVD player that'll play it.

Alot of sites die out at this time of year, alot of people are too busy with the stuff they got for christmas to go on sites, and they get a post shortage, then soon after, nobody bothers coming on at all, hopefully people here wont be like that.

i thought i saw about 400 members online on an ff forum yesterday. if we have about 5 ff forum with that many, or a few hundred less, i don't see a problem. one thing is, most of the forums are more general than ff. "writing" "drawing" "other games" and with reason to do so. NO "real" ff games are coming out. i mean, cool, ff for gba, a remake, hahaha! *sucks* ff12 is going to be great, but a few months after, we're all going to be jadded again. the thing is, well, the games are old. some were released before a majority of our board members were born. and ff 7 continues to be the game that ruins the series. because, quite frankly, i know no one whp plays ff tactics.. and that really is stupid.

I go on a kh forum that has over 10k members, about 1k of which log on daily, or by the time i last check..
