What happened to them? Nothing. They're still around. But if you meant "what's happening to Final Fantasy's nowadays", then it can be explained. The convert to Square Enix was part of a take over, during which, a lot of the members of Square left. A lot of the good members. Thus, FF became shite.

That's what happened.

I said this, but also, with Square becoming Square Enix, its possible that its just took them a while to get it sorted out.
I think FF12 will be their comeback.
I still think that the FF7 PS3 Tech Demo, wasnt for nothing, I think they will remake FF7 for PS3, that will proberably be the best game to be released so far if it does, and it wont just be FF7 with better graphics, they'll change things, not the storyline, but other stuff.

Haha, what? No they won't. They're gone. Trust me on this, FFX is the last decent Final Fantasy we will ever see.

Well you dont have much faith in FF Kain, even if FF12 isnt that great, FF games will be great on PS3.

How can you say that FF10 will be the last ever great FF?? SE havent forgot how to make good FF titles, they just went off and experimented with other shit. Like FFX-2 - first proper sequal and it was shite. FF Chrystal Cronicals - Started experimenting with four players and it was shite too. Then theres FF11 - experminting with online multiplaying and guess what? It was shit aswell. FF X was the last great FF because it was the last normal single player one without some stupid gimmick. I think we should just wait and see what Square do with FF12.

Hey, Enix are (Or were) a good company for RPG's, I have one of their's. Their RPGs generally weren't turn-based though.
I just think that a load of people left both companies.
This year there'll be a new "rookie" game company called SEH, and no-one'll know what it means. But it'll mean Square Enix Haters.
And their games will rock so hard.

Think what you want, im allowed an oppinion, I think it will happen, so what if you dont, i'll believe what I want to believe thanks, even if there is little chance.
So dont do that again when im giving an oppinion SC, you obviously dont see the stupidity of it.
