I heard that the ps3 tech demo is only a demo there are currently no plans involving the ps3 and a ff 7 remake and square enix isnt all bad look at kingdom hearts

Why did no one ever get excited over the tech demo that they did of FFVIII for PS2?

Yeah, if you like, I can stick it up on YouTube and PM you the link, if you like.

It's got Squall & Rinoa dancing in it, and it shows the original engine against the "new" PS2 engine. The quality isn't brilliant though because it's probably recorded off a big screen at E3 or something.

i only see the stupidity in someone who doesn't do any research. if you spent at least two minutes on any final fantasy forum, you would probably know that the tech demo was excatly what the foolish masses would fawn over. they have a next gen system. microsoft already drained halo for now. so sony hopes to drain its most popular franchise of all time. the very reason why most gamers bought a ps1 was for ff7. thus, it became the most successful home console in history. maybe showing you ff7 on ps3 is going to make you giggle and pass out. maybe that sort of name power is so trememdous, you would see it fly off store shelves and possibly become the most successful game to ever hit ps3. but as the 360, what with only two decent launch games: call of duty 2 and dead or alive 4. but how can the ps3 have such an edge of the 360? sony has incredible "alien made" hardrives that microsoft (a computer company) never heard of? ps3 will surely have a lot of crap games at launch. and i shall beat you down into the depths of the universe with a thousand raging slaps because you insist on being so ignorant. little chance? no. NO CHANCE.
