depends to a drunk the site of a kebab shop at 1 am is quite similar to heaven (how low does alchol make you sink)

for a drug addict its the next fix e.t.c
prehaps heaven is in what you do not where you go as for some place far off in the sky with clouds ponies e.t.c i think not people used to think heaven was above the clouds then we flew above them NO heaven so where was heaven then in space so we looked and then we climbed so where was heaven then insible parell dimension sounds like the child who broke a vase

You see heaven is held out a like a glittering reward be good donate be nice worship me and you get to live in luxury when you die and it dosnet matter anymore otherwise you go to the fiery hell for punishment roar tremble at my wrath and bow.
Proof of this reward is never forthcoming its you must believe basically just as hell is your scare factor into religion heaven is the benifit that you get with loyal service so no the wayto heaven is not lost only the truth obscured by religion

yes i am ranting but some jehovas pricks came and in translated terms buy my way into heaven or suffer etenal from being a cheapskate bastard who denies them cars to drive around in so they can pester more people rant over and out

my theory is this: we will never know if heaven and/or hell exists, so we might as well come to this conclusion: heaven is what we live right now, and hell can be considered all of the horrible things that come along with life.

i wanted to respond to ragnarok, but unfortunately, i was unable to decipher his hidden language, but yes, the entire "i love jesus, please protect me". i see nothing wrong with that, because people want to have faith in something that they want to believe in. say, you collect buttons, you might make the image in your mind of a giant button monster that will help you stay sane until you find the rarest button in the world. the same can be said for pretty much everything else. people pray for their families to stay healthy, and they also pray to beings that may/may not exist, but that doesn't matter, because that faith enrichens a lot of people's lives. so there is no known proof of anything holy or devilish... but there are ways to look at this... as stated, heaven can be what we live. nature, love, happiness, that is basically pure joy, so we can be looked at as heaven, and sadness, anger, frustration, that can look at as hell. a lot of points to make, and so difficult to explain them properly...

But yes, faith and religion ARE what keep us sane. B.S. once asked how on earth I didn't believe in God, and I told him my mom raised me to believe in the Goddess. People believe what they are raised on because it's all they have in this worl and even if we lose faith, we can still cling to memories. But I'm typing too much.

i used to attend church on sundays when i was young, but i began to question a few things. i was asking my mother "this 'god', he loves everyone, right? so if i never attend church, will he NOT love me? i mean, a little hard to understand at such a young age... i just think some belief should be put into something, because you need that to help yourself not feel lost like some find themselves to be. "I'M LOST, WHY THE FUCK DO I LIVE?" if you're THAT lost, you NEED jesus/anything that can give you a clear way of approaching your everyday life without resorting to "OMFG, I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO BELIEVE IN". and again, none of us know if any of this heaven/hell stuff exists, so please people, enough of this "god wants you to buy my bible!" believe what you want! damnit!

yeah, i find it funny how bibles are constantly worked on/edited constantly to please the masses. it has gotten so out of hand, so out of hand that there is no 'real' bible. i say this because i read several bibles, and absolutely none of them were the same, well, except for some very obvious quotes. but WTF? putting faith into a book that has been edited a thousand times is pretty damn hard... i might buy a bible, so next week a "great" version is released with god playing poker and living in las vegas. with the state of people nowadays, they might just believe it and create a reality show about it.. or just make a "jesus" candybar... YUCK!
