As for the bible, the bible proclaims that god came first.
..But to be technical about it, god made chickens. So chicken came first right? Nope. He made fully-grown animals. So the hen had a egg inside her from her moment of creation. So they came at the first time.
And to be pedantic about the first true chicken, the first TRUE chicken came at the first time as the first chicken EGG

I agree with Sephiroth on the above topic... the egg had to have come first in order to contain the creature that was then, afterwards, called a chicken...the egg would have had to have come from another creature that was slightly different from that of the "chiken" HENCE...it not being thought of as the same creature. Even if that made no sense to any of you it made sense to me so... *sticks tongue out*

the egg must have become first because it had to create the first ever chicken you can create your own theories of what created the egg but it could not be a chicken because there would be none therefore the egg came first! simple really, but who actually cares what came first i sure don't lol
