heres a theory that should make for a good topic my friend told me it years ago .
Are insane people in fact perfectly sane do we call people who see things we cannot see insane because if we dont see it then it dosnet exsist so if i got the the theory right the question is What if insane people arent insane we are we cant see the things plainly in front of us and create are own safe world while we lock up the nuts who can see what is really there lol its complicated and likey rubbish but i found it amusing

Well, i have read a theory that some scientist's believe that our world had already been taken over by aliens and that our world is virtual reality, meaning, aliens technology has become so advanced we haven't noticed were inside their computers. Although, i think some people have watched too much matrix. XD

wow cool theory! If that was the case then the mojority of the world would be insane! gee just think of the implications of that! I don't think we should lock people up unless they are truly dangerous say like mass genocide or a serial rapist but the people who are classed as "insane", well maybe we should just leave them as they are you never know they could teach us something we never knew about ourselves! yeah i know there are doctors and people who deal with insane people but they try to get to the bottom of the problem and get rid of it, perhaps if we ask them why they are acting this way and let them continue we could learn about they're state of mind and compare it to ours to see which is closer to reality(of course both sides of people would argue that their state of mind was reality and it would become biased so maybe that wasn't such a good idea lol)

I believe, and have always believed, that reality is simply the perception of the individual compared to the group.
I discussed this with Robin the other day, actually. A mad person isn't mad to other mad people, but would be to "normal" people.

ummm just outta the blue who is robin is he real or is he an imaginary person..........................i used to have an imaginary friend called ninja fred he was so dude he was a small little ghost thingy that could fit in my hand and had realy cool sunglasses i have a few pics of me and him........ .........ahh happy days then i went to junior skool and made real friends and fred sort of faded away but the freaky thing is i sware tat i saw him on my bed he was..........waving..... .......sorry i just went then into a little world of my own teehee

Hmmm, i've thought about it before after watching Beautiful Mind. I think that the majority of the world cant see things. You have to realize that these so called "insane" people have such a fierce belief that what they see is real so we should take that into account.

everyone who's insane's world is different. the sane people's world is all the same. If you as you propose say that the insane people are sane then all their dellusions would be the smae. Because they aren't, they are insane.
