What happened if Devil is a good person?

Another problem with people praying to god is most of the time; they truly dont need his help, which also supports my opinion that religion is something to believe in.

Most people who ask god for help dont always need it, maybe they jsut need someone to get through it

For instance, if a woman who is living fairly moderate life, preys to win the lottery, does she need it ?

On the other hand if it was a woman who infact lives in poverty and whishes to live a good life, should she prey to win the lottery?

I have found myself when i was younger; preying to God that I would find a missing toy, oor wishing to settle a quarrel with a friend?

(this is weird) The next day after i preyed to find something, i would find it. This has happend everytime i lose something, i would pre and find it. So i thought so myself saying " Why would god help me look for toys and inanimate objects instead of helping the poor in Africa? where they need it most? Why not help the woman in poverty that has a lottery ticket? So i concluded that belief can help you through situations, but its not something to rely on.

Okay, people have their good and their bad. I don't support devil or anything, just explaining a new side to it, a possible of a good side. I don't support god as well, because I just want to live life without dwelling existents on god.

So, everyone has their good and bad side, even god. We all have evilness inside us, it up to us to fight it or surrender to it. We all sometimes have to think two sides of it, even devil .

That's wierd it's happened to me too. I remember when I was younger, I wished and prayed for a new crayon, just cause I wanted one. Noone ever heard me and I found this wierd multicolored crayon that I have never seen before or since....

Yeah people pray because they're lazy and want life even easier, which just pisses me off. Most of the time the things they pray for they can do themselves. You should only pray when it's totally out of your hands and it's worth praying over. Pretty soon people will be like, " Oh God, I pray to you that you may paint my house tan... though an off yellow would suit it too. Do this because I'm so good and I promise to stay good if you do"

I see that alot, although i do occasionaly prey if someone is in a hospital, such as my grandfather went into hip surgery and had a high risk of death, but he lived.

A phrase that I heard the other day really moved me, " If someone is willing to put faith in you, dont let them down ". I live by this, so i conclude in a metaphorical type of way, that if u have faith in something, not neccesarily god, you will come through.

But it's like taking a test. If you're hopes are high, then you might be crushed if you get a bad grade. But if you try hard and keep your goal relatively low and you try to reach beyond that goal (not trying to be negative or suggest not studying) then you'll either meet your eexpectations and not be dissappointed or you feel great because you did greater than you thought. Faith can be like that as well

I guess faith is no more then a kind of crutch to help u get on with life, not to give u stuff you dont really need, which is why i dont really prey lol

Just so you guys know......God kows everything before you pray that's why he has a prayer to say in the bible. You hear all these preachers make long winded prayers when god basically said don't give me this crap i already know just make it short and simple.
