If this is what you believe then doesn't that make the whole process pointless? Like God is just playing with us? I mean, if he knows how we all are inside then why does it matter if we worship him or not? Seems kind of petty for an all powerful god.
Nothing bad meant by it, just wondering what you think about it

I agree HantsHammer. It's like saying "God knows everything so he knows that I COULD pray and be good"
Prayer is a way of professing your faith. Man made, but does it not give people faith?

you always know in a sense. Sometimes you don't realize it and sometimes you pretend its not there. Then again sometimes it really is not there at all, some times its overflowing. Faith is not achieved and is ultimately up to you

Probably, though I just live life and thats it. So, no afterlife shit. I still do good things, that isn't pointless if you don't have a religion. Good stuff makes the world happy.

It also depends on what you mean by the devil and what you mean by good. If by the devil you mean the fallen angel who gave Adam an Eve knowledge, he can be good, but if you mean the dude who tries to get you to be immoral so he can torment you forever as a punishment for not being good enough to get into heaven, then he could only be good if heaven turned out to be some kind of prison camp/ energy cell that the creator used to feed off the souls of good-hearted humans and grow stronger while the devil tried to get you to trick him into thinking you have an impure soul. The what you mean by good part, I can't really remember because my computer crashed as I was about to post this earlier. I might have been thinking something about God and the devil might not be good and evil, no matter which was good and which was evil, they could both be on opposing sides of good and neither evil, each thinking humans need to be rewarded for a good life or consoled for having a sucky life.
