Yes though I believe He was the Messiah, many of my beliefs contradict my Christianity.

Yes, but generally, I will not discuss something unless the topic creator has laid it out to be discussed. They asked if I believe in Jesus and I stated that I do. Now, unless there is another segment to that post, the discussion ends there.

Extrapolating your feelings and submitting useful thought would further lend itself to interesting conversation. Get over your status as a "logical jackass" and think like a human being. Jackass.

To be fair, I'll give you a better response. Yes, I believe Jesus was the Messiah...that is what I was taught, and I tend to stick to it. However, I believe a few details may have been exaggerated for the purpose of making the religion popular. I believe he is the Son of God, and that he may or may not have left descendants upon this earth. All in all, I believe because I choose to and in my heart I feel it is true.
