Ah, so that explains the American thing then.
I thought Scottish was more like...
A Double Voddie 'an Coke den, ya shietin' cunt! Gaut poppy, ya drink to much, ya not goat poppy, ya goat da skag to blame, and ewereyone's aulways hauldin' oot...ken? Some cats jus' dinnae know when tah keep day claws in...
I guess it was a dialect, and not an accent.
Methinks I should probably preach what I say, but this has already gone to hell anyway...

*Blinks.* You must be Scottish then.
So is it slang, or is it an accent? Or scottish slang with the accent? Either way, I always liked how it sounds.

yeah theres different accents in Scotland like Glaswegian or my accent which is Fife but most accents speak slang and sound different like the word i use most is 'Cunt' which doesn't say good things about me but hey i'm Scottish but you can think of me as one of the nice Scottish people who maybe swear a bit much. They'd sound pretty wierd or funny to foreigners to.

Well, I was told that the word ''cunt'', when used in certain Scottish meanings, is only referring to the equivalent of what we otherwise know as ''dude'' or ,'guy''. So it is not supposed to be that offensive, although to someone who does not know, it can sound a bit crude at first. How true is any of that?
Kind of like how they call cigarettes ''fags'' in England.

Well i guess to start off 'ya cunt' might have been an offensive thing to say after something happened but i think now because its used so much its lost its offensive ness and is just basicallly a common term used now, like last night when Scotland scored in the Football i jumped and yelled oh ya cunt so it can also mean good
Hm my brother smokes and we would use fags instead of cigarettes but its even sounds different to fag meaning gay i'd probaly say finocchio if i was calling someone gay anyway

Inspiration? Pffft, those are almost exact phrases from the book.
Yes, I imagine that it seems that I was trying to pass off as knowing something about Scottish accents, but then again, how many times have I raved about what I call my ''Instant Philosophy Bible'' around here?

I bet this new cloud and tifa are glad I'm not active - they would have been banned a while ago.
As it is, I leave terminal to do as she chooses.

Heh, it was the 'skag' and 'cats' that gave it away. Is it sickboy who calls everyone cats? The same guy who always quotes James Bond? I can't remember it's been a while since I read it..
