Is satan really evil? I mean, he keeps all the bad people out of hell, tricks and punishes bad people on earth, and generally makes bad people get whats coming to them when he decieves them as he so often does. I think of him more as a garbage man for evil people. He keeps heaven clean.
oh and I'm not a satanist.

The bit on the end wasn't really necessary.
But indeed, he's not evil (in that sense) he acts merely as a distraction, to weed out, if you will, the chaff from the wheat.

Satan is really a fallen angel. He is not evil as most poeple would have him believe. Lucifer, or Satan, readies souls for heaven if they are not fit to go to heaven after their first life. They endure punishment, and so obtain nirvana in heaven.
