What is a soul?

Is it something you can touch? or mearly a manifestation of your life? Or is it mearly something god puts into you to make you "alive"? Is it ever really yours or does it always belong to God? Do we even HAVE souls?

A soul...No doubt someone will slam me for this but a soul is merely a manifestation of the fear of death. Those who are about to die fear they will go to hell, so they crete an "idea" for themselves. In short, a soul is a theory, nothing more.Also...more than one person I know speculates that a soul is a representation of life, more along the lines of light and dark...I know that will make minimal sense to most of you...

the definition of a "soul" is not complex at all.
The human mind was used long ago to start fables.
As begun with "souls" which we are said to have.
"selling your soul" oh it's just stupidity.

With this noted, you can easily form a belief first and in the future have another believe it.
"We all come back as animals when we die" oh really? i'll be sure to laugh at you when some relative dies and you claim their "soul" was then placed in your cat. please...

it's all modern beliefs now. all they do is make us question more things.
i say we should create something with whatever wit we have and pass on the hope to idiots who will believe us.

if you drink water everyday you will come back as a lake or massive body of water.. well let's just haunt eachother afterwards and tell eachother the goings on in "heaven"

My theory is that what some people believe a soul is, is completely wrong.

I believe that "the soul" does not exist but that somebodies "soul" represents their freedom as a human being to do as they wish, within the laws of physics of course.

or that the soul is the ability to express your true emotions. if this is the case, then people who lie and hide thoir true emotions are slowly letting their soul decay until they can no longer display true emotion.

man this is deep.

oh well, continue fellow pholosophisers. i will retire for the evening.
