I agree, anything regarded as not real or magic at all is satanic, and though i am christian, i find that very childish to, that means that everything is satanic, because some things are good.
I think.

This my friends is the last call of a dying ideology helplessly clinging to its old ways of being hateful and resentful to anything that distracts people from itself, only nowadays people are smart enough to see how bloody stupid the whole thing is and laugh at these people who claim to be talking from a religous viewpoint
Christianity would get a lot more respect if it just died with some dignity for the first time in its exsistance.

I agree, the whole thing is ridiculous. I had a freind once who loved FF and Harry Potter, but now is forbidden to have anything to do with either of them because of the satanic magic in both of them and the 'bad words' in FF >.> I mean, she's going on seventeen... Every time a freakin tarot reading ad comes on TV they turn it off. I can't stand going to her house anymore because every time I do I feel like they're trying to 'save' me and it turns into a prayer meeting.
I let her borrow a book of mine once... I can't recall the title but it was fantasy, much like harry potter kind of thing. Her father had to take it away from her for two days to look through it and see if it was suitable. Then he finally let her read it but only every second day and for a certain amount of time... I swear this is all unexaggerated truth O.o
Thankfully now she's getting older I think she's beggining to think for herself, but still...

People say that Muslim is the craziest religion, but when you really think about it, all of them are, of course, no offense, but nothings perfect.

thats the problem with subjective viewpoints, when you look at somthing from a specific viewpoint that not everyone believes you end up with seeminly ridiculous conclusions, religions need to learn a simple fact -
NOBODY CARES!
if they learn that their place is in their churches with their actual believers instead of sticking their nose in everyone elses buisness then maybe theyll have a chance at survival before they die of stupidness

Anything against the christian or catholic church is, in effect, Satanism- Satanism is derived from the old term "shatani"(roughly) meaning enemy.
In that case, I am a devout satanist.
But yeah..It's stupid. If the bible's right, he gave us free will. Use it. In england we didnt really have the biblebashers at our heels. Or where I live anyway.
I have an immense respect for true believers, All religions are flawed, and to see past those flaws takes alot more than I, most probably, Could ever give.
It still annoys me on saturdays at the green when two people from the mothodist church come to us saying "You must turn awy from the devil"..Most of us are pure non-believers. Black does NOT mean we worship the Devil. Nor does a pentagram. The pentragram is the symbol Venus traces in our skies throught the year, and is a symbol meaning love.
Evil my butt.

Must be a Methodist thing I used to live about 2 doors down from a Methodist church and I went out wearing one of those hoodys with a flaming circle and star jeez out comes the congregation as I come back from the shop and two old ladies firmly built a barricade with themselves to get in my way and then they started asking questions like why did I turn away, why am I, wearing that and what did I think I was doing going past a church dressed up like that. They were continuing as I walked away they kept it up with so many other people who wore black that eventually there used to be a line of us who would go sit out here on Sundays just to infuriate them and they had the nerve to call the police and try and get people done for harassment as if stopping on the street and blathering religious garbage at me every week is hardly harassment luckily we got a copper who got the picture asked us to leave and told us to ignore them, rubbish no doubt they were telling that copper after we had left how sinful we were I mean one man nearly had a heart attack when one of my friends started talking about weegie boarding and saying he had done one and how real it was you could see the bloke was dieing to shout heathens and fools repent ye and become good Methodist children or be cast into the flames of hell lol well that’s religion for you.

2 thoughts on that -
1. Ever heard of somthing called a full stop
2. Anytime a bigoted idiot tries it on with me I challenge them to argue it and they always lose cause they cant make an arguement that doesnt rely on somthing that is pure opinon and faith, and thus has no objectivity. If someone frowns upon you for what you wear for example, just politly ask them why then hand them their own ass when they claim its offensive, I once said to someone "well personally I find notion of god offensive but im polite and nice enough not to make a scene in order to justify my belief as im secure in said beliefs" or somthing less constructive then that at least

two thoughts on that
1. Yes i am just a little lazy well very lazy with my grammar if i can get away with it.
2. I approve of your methods to dealing with the said annoying problem but i was younger then and more prone to blatant action tthan sensible repartee.

Personally, I don't see anything satanic in it. First, IT'S FICTION. Not real. Made up.
It's simple prose. It goes with the genre. It has been discussed in my church, and personally, I can't say that I agree with everything that was said. But from my standpoint,
what makes something good or evil, is how you feel about it in your heart. Like Halloween.
Some people say that it is evil. Some say that is a Holy day- all Hallow's eve. But again, I
belive that what makes something good or evil, is how you look at it, and to me, Harry Potter books are pure entertainment. Good entertainment at that. It teaches all to use the creativity that was put in us from the start.
