Evolution vs. Creation
I'd like to know what you all think on the subject.
I believe that evolution got us to where we are today, but a greater power, a god if you will, to create the first living being in exsistence. That's my opinion, what's yours

There is such a thing as a blend between the two. Mostly, the theory of Special Creation has been put to rest over evolution. However, that doesn't mean we can't incorporate the two. It might have been God that set forth evolution with the creation of the first cell

If so, that voids the definition of evolution. Almost...because, how did God came to be?
But if there is no god, things must still start somewhere. so here as well, it makes no sense to me.
I am for evolution all the way, but because of that little mystery, that belief of mine always still remains more of a question then anything else..

Hm...the Big Bang...but that is a thoery only.
The universe might have existed a long time before our planet and galaxy ever did..
But I do not really understand the theory of the Big Bang anyways.

Here's a question. Where did humans come from. Where we made from a high power or did we form over millions and millions of years from bacteria, and if so where did the bacteria come from. SOmething had to come out of nothing. LIke the big bang. Where did that come from, if it's real. We will never know. It's the secret of life

It's neverending. If scientists could prove that it started with the big bang, then they'd have to find out where that came from. and then the same with that and so on and so on. Only a possible deity could break the chain

Exactly.
If not, then I think it is beyond the understanding of mankind. I think, and speculate only. Because I believe there is a logical explanation to it all.
Things like the universe..I mean, does space have an end? And if there is, there must be something beyond that...nothing can be infinite, by logic, and nothing can BE nothing..''nothing'' should not even be in the vocabulary of such subjects.

Oxygen causes bacteria to be, so if evolution speaks the truth, we humans all originate from mould and mud, heh.
It seems to me a plausible theory though..before mankind, there were other things on Earth, like dinosaurs. Something happened to the planet them, some suggestions are that the axis of the planet changed, affecting the gravity.
(Because dinosaurs and insects from back then could not live on our Earth today, due to gravitational factors.)
But even so, this would mean that life before us started from bacteria as well..
..but I guess it has nothing to do with the beginning of everything..

Here is a picture of the possible "shapes of our universe": http://www.lbl.gov/Publications/Curr...universes.jpeg
I never understood how scientists can come up with a "shape" that depicts an infinite abyss

..what the blazes?
Although, the middle picture, I have seen such a one before, they used it to explain the theory that the universe is constantly expending.
But still, like you say, how is anyone to depict such theories?
To me, it would be like trying to figure out what a bear eats by studying it only in its slumber.
