Well, I've kind of noticed, alot of FF/KH forums are dying out.
I mean, I used to be alot more known on the internet, especially with forums and such, but forums now are dying out?
There's FF Insight, I reached that through a KH Site I'm on, that's gone poof, then theres FF Network which has gone totally poof too.
A few other FF sites, not just forums, have died out too, no more updates etc, why the heck do you think this is?
(I mean, it's even happening to US, and we ROCK!)

The Final Fantasy genre is dying out. Square haven't made a decent Final Fantasy Game since FFX, and even then, that's borderline. (The KH sites that are dying are probably just coincidences. Either that, or they're dying out as a result of the parent FF site dying).

The old FF games have been done to death. Everyone is bored of them. Frankly, so am I.

H'mm..I can't say as to how true that is.
The games are getting rarer and rarer; some people are only now starting to play the games (look at bix!). Now that the hype about them has died down, people are starting to take the game seriously if thay hadn't before.
People would also start with the cheaper games- aka the older ones- that can be played on mainstream consoles- ps1+. Yes it might've died down but there should still be enough interest so it's not dying.
The KH site is going strong with KH2 coming out soon.

True, but FF12's going to change that, its really does look great.
Hopefully this site will keep standing, as long as the forum stays active, so will the site I think.

Hopefully with a fresh new game coming (FF12) the spirit will come back again! Plus Final Fantasy Advent Children! As long as there is a few people left who will always love the games it will never die out.

ff forums are dying out because a lack of new info new games =new intrest as games get older people play something newer and forget the masterpieces like ff7 because whilst it is good now the graphics dont compare and ffx-2 turned a lot of fans as did 11 so 12 is squares last real chance to bring consumer and fan confidence and intrest back

I actually think some of the base background/foreground stuff from ff8, and the CG is better that ffx/x-2..mainly
