Which came first, the chicken or the egg?

the egg which was lain by the most chicken like creature you can have, but wasn't a chicken. and inside the egg wasd the first chicken

Not how I would have put it, but the right answer none the less.
Truly perhaps you should specify the fertilised egg of the creature to mutate/evolve into a chicken that had changed somehow was the first instance, hmm?

there are many theories. Some scientists belive that in a pool which just happened to contain all the elements of deoxyribosenueclaic acid (DNA) and was struck by lightning or something like that and was create. Others believe that all of the needed parts to create DNA were on a meteor and upon impact with earth, they were bonded creating DNA, and some just say "who the f**k cares?"
