Who would you elect and why...

I would elect John McCain...sure he is a dictator...but thats the kind of government we need...every time someone says the word dictator...people think of evil or Mussolini and Hitler...but cmon...those were very sucessful countries under that dictatorship...i mean take Cesar in Rome for example...he was a fantastic dictator...the people loved him...i think John McCains ideas for this country would be a change for the better...thats all i'll say for now...but please give your opinion...no matter of the harshness...

Dictatorship is just dandy so long as you have a good leader. Soon as somebody bad steps up to the plate, then what? (Nero anybody?)

This is the reason why we have checks and balances, so that instead of just one screwed up person making our nation hell, we would have to have a conglomeration of screwed up people! (Well, okay, we're cuttin it close now.)

If I had to elect somebody... Oh! Oh! Even though he'd never run, Neal Boortz! Yeah. He's the man.

Yes, everyone loved him.

He managed to secure the peace and prosperity of Rome by massacring anyone who would not convert or those who resisted..

I can agree that most probably, dictatorship is one of the best ways to keep a country in peace, as ruling the people with fear stabilizes many things that otherwise go wrong in our countries.

But in the end, they lead to war, as no one can agree on the same ideal.

In this reason, I cannot think of anyone I would wish to see elected, as I may think he or she is the solution to what ails society, but it may not be so for the other people under the leadership or government of this elected person.

In fact, such an opposition of ideals and opinion, I strongly believe to be the main problem in the first place, one that has plagued many countries throughout history, one that has always seen the greatest and strongest rulers fall in the end.

It may bold of me to say, but this is what I believe.

So..it matters not who takes the throne, if people are going to get hurt and killed in the process.

We are talking about today, this I know, but weather or not one wishes to see or believe it, it still happens. In more present ways then we see.

Shit i'd re elect Bill Clinton he was cool plus when he sent the troops to Bosnia that was a good Idea. Bush Sending the troops into Iraq after Saddam and his ficticious weapons of mass destruction bad idea. Taking the troops out of Afghanastan cuz he couldn't find Osama bad Idea. Saddam didn't have no weapons but Cortez or whoever rules cuba did. So what clinton liked head doesn't mean he should have gotten impeached. He should have married her cuz hilary wasn't putting out why else did he do it. If not Bill Clinton I'd elect Macgyver he's cool too. Don't know why I just would.
