I have no idea how much it is, although they keep releasing classic PS1 games on the network, for not too much. Symphony of the Night was like ten dollars, but the image quality really suffered and there was no added content or bonuses.

So, if this is FFVII version is marked at a higher price, let us hope it to be tweaked somewhat. :/

And for the record people, this is a Final Fantasy site, so it will obviously have Final Fantasy news. You can debate all you want, whether you like the franchise or not, but do not let it get out of hand.
Kaoru, try to remember that because you dislike SquareEnix, it does not mean that everyone else does, or should, as you seem to imply on with your advocating of titles that for you are much better.

I actually agree with a lot of what you say, but people have different tastes, and one's opinion is not fact. European gamers are a lot more open minded than you might think.

Anywho FFVII is now on all 3 PSNs, Japan, N. America and Europe so I think we can all agree to get along and for only £8 why no eh!

Yay! If only I had the Play Station Network. And reason to buy FFVIII on PSN aside from backup in case someone breaks my game.

I do hope that this brings down the proie of the hardcopies down somewhat, although I doubt it will be significant, and they are still technically collectible, even though most are the Greatest Hits re-release stuff.

I still have my original copy, with the nice white discs.

But aye, I sort of doubt that this will do anything about the physical copies, their prices and availability...the gaming industry moves very quick, and Sony now probably assumes that everyone has a PS3 and no longer needs any actual copies for old games. :/ Either that or, Sony fans without a PS3 no longer count. XD

I planned that the PS3 was obsolete as soon as there was a 600$+ price tag and all the cheaper models were worthless due to no backwards compatibility, so don't worry. I'd easily let you buy my copy of FF VII on the cheap if you REALLY feel you gotta have it.
