While spam in the early stages is acceptable, but once we get bloated with members I (and you, mods) should start cracking the whip down.

Gotcha! But, yes because spam is in larger communities is a very annoying problem.

I agree.
Our jobs as Mod's are to post content for the forum
not to mention the main site.
Without new content this is just a place to spam
and i find that to be unexceptable.

I think you misunderstood , starlightCRUSH.
He means that the posts should be of some value (i.e. not just a couple of words). It is acceptable for links to ffnet.org and our network sites, and our affiliates, but we don't really need to be linking to other sites unless they're really that good, do we?
