WTF Moments

[Miss Lockheart]

Which do you think were the most hilarious, shocking or downright stupid parts of each FF you've played. I've started with a few of my WTF moments-

FFVII- the whole Drag cloud scenario. Especially when Cloud gets chosen... and Palmer getting run over by a random truck out of nowhere, only to appear intact later on in the game.

FFVIII- Laguna watching Julia play the piano. He gets up to go and see her, then his leg cramps and he walks around like a fricking zombie, I laughed my face off when I saw that.

FFIX- The end boss. What the hell was that?!?!?! It didn't even have anything to do with the rest of the story!!

FFX- I can name two-

1. The fake laughing scene in Luca. Pretty funny.

2. When everyone except Auron visits the Farplane. Seymour says to Auron "are you still here Sir? I beg your pardon, we Guado are keen to the scent of the Farplane"

Auron *pushes Tidus away* Hilarious!!

FFXII- Basch has a paedophile moment-

Reks- I'm seventeen Sir
Basch (longingly)- Young...
Reks- I've got a brother two years younger in Rabanastre.
Basch (moans)- So young...

whole X-2 but than in a bad way :P

in VIII a scene I cannot discuss yet

in X tidus dancing behind dona's back ^^
and ofcourse wakka and tidus kicking eachothers but behind a conversation ^^

Yeah X-2 was a huge WTF moment. Esp. the beginning- FFX opens with the destruction of a city. FFX-2 opens with a, er, pop concert...

FFVII- Barret wears a sailor suit and looks like one of the Village People, Red XIII tries to stand up convincingly. Oh and finding Vincent in a coffin was quite strange.

FFX- when Donna's guardian picks Tidus up and throws him onto the platform and sends him down to the Chamber of the Fayth, and before the Blitzball game when Wakka's giving a pep talk and Tidus just stands there yawning

Yeah I agree, Zell is completely WTF, but awesome because of it

Hmm lemme see, Don Corneo. Remember you need to have about 2,500 gil for this-

1. when you first come to Wall Street Market go to the restaurant and buy a meal (the Special I recommend). When asked how it is, say the kindest answer (something like it's ok or not bad), and receive a coupon for the pharmacy/item shop. Go to the item shop and ask for a Digestive.

2. go to Don Corneo's mansion, where Aeris suggests Cloud dress up as a girl. go to the clothes shop where the daughter will say her father is in the bar getting drunk, go there and convince him to go back to the shop. He will ask what type of dress you want, and for choice no. 1 pick "something soft" and for choice no. 2 pick "something that shimmers". This will make sure you get the Silk Dress which is the best one. Before leaving the bar go knock on the toilet door, and when the door opens give the woman inside the Digestive. She will give you the Sexy Cologne as a reward.

3. go to the dress shop, where you will be told to go to the gym to get a wig from Big Brother. Beat him in the "number of squats" challenge to get the Blonde Wig.

4. finally, before you go back to the clothes shop, visit the shop near the save point where the guy is laid down inside. He will talk about something embarrassing and ask you to get something from the Inn for him. Go and pay to stay at the Inn, which will trigger a cutscene where Cloud examines the Vending Machine in the Inn. When asked, choose the most expensive option (about 2,000 gil). Go back and talk to the guy in his shop, he will give you the Diamond Tiara as a reward as ong as you choose the most expensive item

Go get changed at the clothes shop. Cloud won't look very different, but with all the best key items he will get chosen by Don Corneo. I'm not going to tell you what happens, but I think you will never see Cloud the same again. Enjoy!

My WTF moment in FFVII was when Cait Sith, feeling guilty for posing as a spy on Cloud and the rest of the party, offers to sacrafice himself at the Ancient's Temple with the Dark materia in a truley heroic moment... only to find that it was a hollow offer since Cait Sith 2 comes bumbling along as soon as the temple implodes and the dust settles.

I liked the card game in FFVIII, but I absolutely hated some of the card rules which started to circulate around the world once you got to the later discs. Especially the 'Random' rule. WTF!!! I hated that rule and it made it so hard to have a strong hand and get higher valued cards.

Or how about in FFIX when you have to do aaaaaaaall that work just to find out Garnet's true name engraved at Eiko's dwelling. Very anti-climactic.
