Ok now my mum's just trying to make me look stupid- she defeated the hellwyrm today (level 68 but that sounds about right anyway) and she did the Fafnir last night, without any trouble. Grrrrrrr *has childish fit* how can she beat me like thissssss????  |

Um she refuses to use more than three basic gambits- one for attacking, one for curing and one for flying foes. It was her tactics that did it for her-
I'm not sure if she used the walkthrough for it, she probably did, but I'm still jealous ¬_¬ |

Yeah, especially when she's 46 years old and, um, a parent type person 
It took her 2 1/2 hours to do the Hellwyrm, we all sat there and watched the dots go down slowly. But again, she made it look easy, and she didn't even resort to Quickenings (which I usually do) *pouts* |

Still, I'll get there one day, I'm doing really good on my own game which I restarted. I've just gotten through Sochen Cave Palace and I managed to steal 3 Embroidered Tippets while I was in the Tchita Uplands so I'm levelling up really fast now. And last time I played the Ahriman was stupidly hard but this time it was a breeze  |

yes, the Embroidered Tippets and the Gold Armlets are some of the most useful Accessories in the game me thinks... very smart. I used ETs whenever I wanted to raise some quick levels, and I used GAs whenever I wanted to learn some quick licences. I might start a new XII game later in the year, maybe in the summer.

Yeah I think once I've gotten as far as I can go with my current game I'm gonna leave it for a long time, it's such a huge time-consuming game.
I like how you can equip the GAs to people outside of your party and watch their licence points go up happily with no effort |
