Yeah you know we've hit a complete lull here. Well, not me personally, I have plenty of conquests on my roster (FFVIII, upcoming FFI, CC, X again), but my mum. *gasp*

I just finished replaying DoC on her suggestion, once again we went through the rigmarole of laughing at the pathetic parts, laughing at Vincent in general (he makes some pretty suggestive noises sometimes ^^) and then getting into a big discussion about plotlines and such. We know CC is around the corner, but we might still be in for a wait for it and the tension is rising!!

Anyway, so we got into a discussion of what to do now that DoC is happily back in the "done" pile. "Can I continue with my FFX game, mum?" "No I hate Tidus too much I can't watch it, no FFX". Fine, grrrr but fine. "So what about FFVIII? It's the only one I haven't completed" "Meh, you should get the PC version and do that at home, I'm not interested". By now I'm beginning to seethe, which with me usually leads to a snappish nasty sarcastic comment, and this was what I came out with- "so why don't you just go out and bought Kingdom Hearts then". I thought I'd won with that comment, but what came next I really wasn't ready for-

"Actually I was thinking of getting that game and trying it out"

Say whut?

"Let's go see if we can find it at the gameshop next week"

WHAT!!!!!!!

Not only did I suggest that game ages ago, I actually got so sick of asking that I decided to shun the game myself. Now all of a sudden we are gonna play Kingdom Hearts. HAS THE PLANET GONE MAAAAAADDDDD!!!!!!

No, the whole world hasn't gone mad... just your mum, LOL. She might like Kingdom Hearts, and you. You never know. Hehe. The graphics are good, and the gameplay is adequate, and it should be cheap cheap now in stores since it is so old now. It's just the basic story concept which is wild. But no force in the universe could ever get me to play through that fraggle fantasy again. Once was tramatic enough.

I was thinking of playing through FFII again, since I havn't played it in years and years since I got the PS1 version long ago, and since I'm getting a PSP for CC (probably this weekend), I was thinking of picking the PSP version for some nostalgic gameplay.

I'm starting to loose sleep over CC, less than a week to go, AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!

I'm also freaking out about CC. It's driving me mad, especially since I've seen some of the videos with the English dubbing. Aerith has ANOTHER new VA?

Anyways, at least the world isn't going mad ^^

I would happily play FFVIII on my PC, in fact if anyone can help me download it that would be great. Trouble is, I hear nothing on this computer, which would probably kill it moodwise

Yup, t'is the soundcard. For some reason it died when I reinstalled Windows a few weeks ago *cries*

For me, FFVIII has been a long time played as well. It might be due for some fun as well. Maybe after CC.

Bigtime suckage, but there is light at the end of the tunnel- my brother has a pro sound card that I bought, it's in his computer. He says he'll install it in his computer, since he's also got an onboard one and that's just greedy

I'm looking forward to playing FFVIII properly, it feels like the missing link for me. Though I may be in for a wait, but at least I should have FFI for the PSP soon, once me and Zotar finish our swap (I'm sending him Tactics for the PSP)

As for Termie, I can't say. The lull might be to blame, but I'm not sure. One thing I am sure of is that she'll be back soon, or I shall be forced to use, erm, force!!! (the dead member's thread )
