Or at least thinking such jokes are funny. Man, If I had the means, I would get plasstic surgery to look exactly like him, have someone train me to talk and act likke him for at least a couple of days, the take over his life and tell everyone he's moving to americqa and taking his FF collection. That collection would be worth the hassle.

But seriously, I've tried to get some of those things, I even couldn't get the XII guide because Hastings had already preordered out every cop[y the store was ever going to get, and they were just onb display (unless that was another book, and the XII guide was the one they haqd ridiculously jacked uo the price of)
(on a related note, does anyone know how to get one of those cardboard displays? I was in Hqastings more thatn half the days they had the KH2 thing with the information leaflets, and they just said what they usually do is just throw them out, and noone there really wanted it. None of the employees I talked to had taken it, it wasn;t out back unless it had already been picked up with the garbvge, as their dumpste4r was bearly empty, and the display was not at the store. was I ripped off, or does one need to be an employee, do y'all know?)

Found some really old stuff I had forgotten of the FF games branded by Square.

(some say these are not Final Fantasy... but it looks like a duck and walks like duck, its a duck)

FFLegend is actually part of the SaGa series, not final fantasy, and was created by a different team of designers (aside from one person, I think the muscal director for the ifrst game) and not directly based on Final Fantasy. When translated, the games were renamed Final Fantasy Legend, to capitalize on the popularioty of the actual FF series. It's an RPG made by square, but not FF> If it looks like a duck, and walks like a duck, it might be a small goose. You've got to see if it quacks or honks to tell the difference. (note: I love FFLegend, and FFLegend II is pretty good so far.)

As for Mystic Quest, I don;t recall what the deal with that is. Anyway, nice collection. YOu've got some good games there, and some nice loot/swag/collectibles/stuff.

hehe yeps yeps but... if you collected all square games that where final fantasy would you consider this to be needed in the collection or not

The Final Fantasy Legend, known as Makai Toushi Sa·Ga in Japan (魔界塔士 サ・ガ?, "Warrior in the Tower of the Spirit World ~ Sa·Ga"[1]), is a Game Boy video game. The first game in a three-part SaGa series on the Game Boy, it was released in 1989 by Square. It was also remade for the Wonderswan Color and mobile phones in Japan. The Game Boy version was released worldwide by Square, and its re-release was handed by Sunsoft. Other than the name, the game has little to do with the Final Fantasy franchise, and it was so named for marketing reasons.

I would think it could be an addition to a Final Fantasy collection, despite the fact that it is not, in fact, final fantasy, (like a VG Cats Jenova's Witness shirt) but not necessary to be able to say you have collected every FF game (as opposed to, say, Crystal Chronicles, or whichever the 3d tactics style game was, which I renounce as an FF game, but think would be required for any truly complete collection. [if CC isn;t the one I'm thinking of, I apologize to fans I may have offended. If it is the one I;m thinkling of, I poity any fans I have offended])

SO, anyway, no pics, but I can list most of what I have that is Final Fantasy based:
-FFIIIDS
-FFVII
-FFVIII
-FFX
-FFX-2
-FFXII
-Final Fantasy Legend/Makai Toushi SaGa (english)
-The Final Fantasy Legend II
-FFX strategy guide
-FFVII strategy guide PC

plus assorted knickknacks/bric-a-brac/FFthemedstuff that I have lost track of over the years, and possibly one of the earlier games for GB.
